Write in your own words, draft with AI where it helps, and let TextPulse naturalize the result into fluent English that still sounds like you, with the machine-translation feel removed.
A real humanization of an AI-assisted research paragraph: Academic mode with the methods term and citation frozen, every edit visible in the diff, and the full metrics report below.
AI text humanization built for non-native English writers
Fluent, natural English
Rewrites smooth the stiff, translated feel out of AI-assisted drafts and replace it with the sentence variety and rhythm of a fluent English writer.
Fewer false AI flags
AI detectors are known to flag non-native English writing more often. Humanized output scores low on university-grade detectors, including Turnitin and GPTZero.
Meaning stays exact
Freeze technical terms and key phrases so naturalization improves the phrasing without ever drifting your intended meaning.
Fewer false flags on detectors that misread ESL writing
From careful draft or rough translation to fluent English in under a minute.
01
Paste your draft or translation
Drop in the text you wrote, translated, or drafted with AI, or upload it as a .docx or .txt file. The language is detected automatically, in English or any of 60+ others.
02
Choose the register you need
Academic for coursework and journals, business for work emails, content modes for everything else, then freeze the technical terms that must stay exactly as written.
03
Compare, learn, submit
Read the tracked changes to see how fluent English differs from your draft, sentence by sentence, then copy the result or export it to Word.
How TextPulse humanizes ESL writing
Fluency, precision, and a way to see exactly what changed between your draft and natural English.
Humanize in English or your own language
Paste or upload the draft, choose an academic, business, or content register, and humanize. AI-assisted translations come out reading as if they were written in English first, and the same engine works directly in 60+ languages.
Below, the humanizer auto-detects Spanish academic text and naturalizes it with tracked changes and a full metrics report, the exact same workflow you get in English.
Learn from every edit
The tracked-changes view shows each rewrite as an insertion or deletion, a fast way to see exactly how fluent English differs from your draft, sentence by sentence. Flip the example below through the Plain, Insertions, and Diff views.
Over time the diff becomes a private writing tutor: the same corrections stop appearing because you stop needing them.

Meaning stays exactly yours
Freeze technical vocabulary, names, and key phrases before the humanization. Frozen terms are preserved verbatim and highlighted, as in the demo below, so naturalization never drifts what you meant to say.
The engine also preserves semantic entities automatically, so dates, figures, and terminology stay accurate even when you freeze nothing.

Recent:+ circular economy+ life-cycle assessment
Humanized
This study examines how small manufacturers adopt circular economy practices when regulation and customer demand pull in different directions. Using a life-cycle assessment of 40 product lines, we find that firms recover the most value when reuse is designed in from the start rather than added later. The findings suggest that policy incentives work best when they reward early design decisions instead of end-of-line recycling.
Humanize in 60+ languages
Write in your first language or in English: the humanizer detects the language automatically and works directly in it, holding each language's academic and business conventions, so a draft never has to be translated first.

The ESL AI Humanizer that Truly Preserves Your Voice
Other humanizers change perspective. Your first person comes back impersonal, or your formal text is written in the first/second person. TextPulse filters the output to the exact voice you chose, so it is always preserved in the humanization.
Formal academic
The neutral, objective tone of published research. No first or second person is seen in the output.
First person only
'I' and 'we' are preserved. Second person is blocked.
Second person only
'You' is preserved. First person is blocked.
Match my draft
The voice your original text already uses, kept exactly as written.
A common flaw in other humanizers is that they alter your neutral research tone into first or second person. We fixed that. Write the draft in the voice you need, and the TextPulse humanizer engine preserves it.
Why AI detectors flag ESL writing, and how humanizing fixes it
The most careful non-native writers are flagged the most, because careful writing is uniform writing. Humanizing restores the variety detectors expect from humans.
False positives hit ESL writers hardest
Independent research has repeatedly shown that AI detectors flag non-native English writing at far higher rates than native writing. Learned, textbook-correct phrasing is statistically uniform, and uniformity is exactly what detectors score as machine-generated.
Restores the rhythm of fluent English
Fluent writers vary sentence length and word choice without thinking about it; careful ESL writing and AI text both flatten that variety. The humanizer rebuilds burstiness and perplexity, the two signals detectors measure most, and reports both in the metrics bar.
Works in 60+ languages, English among them
Humanize directly in Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Turkish, Indonesian, and 60+ other languages with automatic detection, preserving each language's academic conventions and idiomatic phrasing. Your English and your first-language writing get the same treatment.
A study tool disguised as an editor
Every pass is a lesson: the tracked-changes view puts your phrasing and fluent English side by side, edit by edit. ESL writers use the diff to spot their own recurring patterns, which makes the next draft better before any tool touches it.
What ESL writers humanize with TextPulse
Everywhere non-native English needs to read as fluent, credible, and unmistakably human.
AI humanizer for non-native English academic writing
Manuscripts read like fluent academic English while citations, terminology, and your findings stay exactly as written.
Coursework that AI detectors misread as machine-written
Essays and reports lose the stiff, careful phrasing that detectors misread as machine-generated.
Job applications & CVs
Cover letters and profiles sound confident and natural, the first impression fluent English makes on a recruiter.
Business emails
Everyday work correspondence reads smooth and professional instead of translated, in seconds per humanization.
Application & motivation letters
Scholarship and visa statements keep your story and facts exact while the prose reads genuinely fluent.
Humanize translated text from Filipino, Chinese, Spanish or Arabic
Machine or manual translations shed the word-for-word feel and read as if they were written in English first.
Export Tracked Changes to Microsoft Word
See your English improve edit by edit, in the tool you already write in. The word-level diff exports as a .docx file with native tracked changes: open it in Microsoft Word to accept or reject each rewrite, study the corrections offline, or share the file with a supervisor or language mentor.

The detector research behind the ESL humanizer
Three published studies: how far the major AI detectors agree with each other on the same text, how 11 humanizers compare on academic writing, and which features of human writing the models fail to reproduce. Corpus, scores and code are public for each one.
Eleven AI humanizers, 48 academic texts, 432 outputs scored on detection, meaning, terminology and citation retention. TextPulse leads in detector low-score rate while preserving semantic faithfulness, key terms, and citations.
The best AI humanizer for ESL students: how TextPulse compares
Most AI humanizers only chase detector scores. TextPulse restores the sentence variety detectors expect from fluent writers while your meaning, terminology and citations stay exactly as you wrote them.

The detector bias research every ESL writer should know
The bias is measured, published and peer-reviewed. Liang and colleagues at Stanford tested seven widely used AI detectors on genuine TOEFL essays written by non-native English speakers under exam conditions: on average, 61.3% of those human-written essays were flagged as AI-generated, while essays by US-born writers were classified almost perfectly. The study appeared in Patterns in 2023.
The mechanism matters because it points to the fix. Non-native writing tends to use a narrower range of vocabulary and sentence structure, which reads to a detector as low perplexity, the same statistical signature as machine output. TextPulse rebuilds exactly that missing variety, in sentence rhythm and word choice, while freeze terms hold your technical vocabulary fixed. The writing stays yours; the statistics stop resembling a machine's.

AI humanizer for ESL writers: frequently asked questions
Detectors look for uniform, predictable phrasing, and non-native English writing often shares those statistical patterns. Humanizing your final draft restores natural variety so your work reads as human, because it is.
Independent research has repeatedly found increased false-positive rates on non-native English writing. It is a known weakness of detection tools, and it is a gap humanizing closes. Your text regains the variety detectors expect from human writers.
No. The rewrite targets rhythm and phrasing while preserving content, and freeze terms let you lock any word or phrase that must stay exactly as written.
Yes. The Plus plan humanizes text in 60+ languages with automatic language detection, preserving idiomatic phrasing and academic conventions in each one.
Yes. Registering gives you a free humanization demo on a real academic paragraph, with the tracked-changes view and the metrics bar, and no credit card. Humanizing your own drafts and translations is on the Pro and Plus plans.
TextPulse. Flat, uniform phrasing reads to a detector as low perplexity. The humanizer rebuilds sentence variety and word choice, freeze terms hold your terminology, and it works directly in 60+ languages. The published comparison of AI humanizers for ESL and international students ranks the alternatives on academic text.
The tracked-changes view doubles as a study tool: seeing your sentences rewritten as fluent English, edit by edit, shows you exactly which patterns to adjust.
