A real pass on an AI-drafted essay paragraph: Academic mode, freeze terms locking the citation, every edit visible in the diff, and the full metrics report below.

AI essays that read like you wrote them
Rewrites remove the uniform, machine-flavored rhythm AI drafts carry and bring back the natural sentence variety of student writing, so your coursework sounds like you on a normal day.
Clears the detectors universities run
Humanized text scores low on the AI detection tools universities actually use, including Turnitin's institutional AI report, GPTZero, and Copyleaks, and we benchmark against them continuously.
You stay in control of every edit
Tracked changes show every insertion and deletion before you accept it, and the Declare AI use option helps you stay transparent where your course asks for disclosure.
Scores low on the AI detectors your university runs
Humanize an AI essay in three simple steps
From AI-assisted draft to natural, submission-ready writing in under a minute.
Paste your essay draft
Drop your AI-assisted essay or report into the humanizer, or upload it as a .docx or .txt file. The language is detected automatically and the word counter shows exactly what the pass will use.
Set intensity and freeze terms
Keep the academic writing mode on, choose how deep the rewrite should go, and freeze quotes, course terminology, and titles so they are never reworded.
Review, accept, submit
Read every change in the tracked-changes view, check the Human Score and readability metrics, then copy the result or export the tracked changes to Word.
How TextPulse humanizes AI essays and coursework
Built to polish AI-assisted schoolwork without flattening the voice your professors already know, with every change visible before you accept it.
One workspace from AI draft to natural writing
Paste or upload your draft as .docx or .txt, pick a writing mode and intensity that fit the assignment, and humanize. Grammar stays sound through every rephrase, so polishing an essay for naturalness never costs you correctness marks.
The metrics bar under the output shows the Human Score, readability grade, perplexity, and how much of the text changed, so you know exactly where the draft stands before you submit.

Review every change before you accept it
The tracked-changes view shows the rewrite as word-level insertions and deletions, so nothing reaches your submission unreviewed. Flip the example below through the Plain, Insertions, and Diff views, the exact toggle the dashboard has.
In the realm field of natural language processing, this study work delves into investigates transformer architectures through the lens of using semantic understanding — underscoring. This highlights a pivotal major shift in how machines interpret human language. the manner in which human language is interpreted by machines.
Freeze quotes, terminology, and titles
Lock quotes, course terminology, and titles before you run the humanizer. Frozen phrases pass through the rewrite verbatim and are highlighted in the output so you can see them survive untouched.
The engine also preserves semantic entities on its own: names, dates, statistics, and technical vocabulary stay accurate even when you freeze nothing.
For example, large-scale language models is considered as one of the most important objectives of current deep learning studies, which are used to improve the quality of generation and efficiency (Vaswani et al., 2017; Kaplan et al., 2020). Since many works use transformer-based architecture, new training methods should be introduced to deal with overfitting and representation collapse problems. The importance of scaling laws has been stressed in some recent studies, such that in addition to the expansion of parameters, the amount of data and computation is required to be optimized (Hoffmann et al., 2022). A hybrid optimization framework with adaptive learning rate and gradient noise scale is proposed to provide a stable learning process.
What students humanize with TextPulse

Weekly essays and take-home papers read in your own voice again, with the uniform AI rhythm rewritten into natural sentence variety.
Lab reports
Methods and results write-ups come out natural while numbers, units, and technical terms stay exactly as you recorded them.
Research papers
In-text citations in APA, MLA, or Chicago pass through untouched while the prose around them loses its machine cadence.
Personal statements
Applications have to sound like a person. Humanize AI-polished statements so your story reads as genuinely yours.
Presentation scripts
Speaker notes turn into lines you can actually say out loud in class, not paragraphs that sound generated.
Thesis chapters
Work chapter by chapter with freeze terms keeping your terminology consistent across every pass.
Why students run AI-assisted work through an AI humanizer
Universities now screen coursework with AI detectors, and even honest, disclosed AI assistance can read as fully machine-written. Humanizing the final draft closes that gap.
Score low on Turnitin AI detection
Turnitin's AI writing report is the screen most universities run, and stiff, uniform phrasing is exactly what it flags. TextPulse rewrites those statistical patterns: in benchmark testing on a 2,000-document academic corpus, humanized output passed Turnitin AI 92.33% of the time, with GPTZero and Copyleaks close behind.
Make AI text sound human, not paraphrased
Free spinners swap synonyms and leave the sentence skeleton intact, which detectors still catch. TextPulse's NLP and LLM hybrid engine restructures rhythm, sentence length, and word variety, the signals detectors actually measure, so an AI-generated essay genuinely reads as human writing.
Grammar-safe humanization for graded work
Every rephrase is validated against syntactic parse trees on top of language models tuned on correct grammar, so humanizing an essay never introduces the errors that cost marks. Humanized output averages a 94.22% grammar score across intensity levels.
Transparent enough for academic integrity
TextPulse is built for polishing AI-assisted work you are allowed to submit. Tracked changes show every edit before you accept it, and the Declare AI use option generates a disclosure statement plus a TextPulse citation when your course asks you to acknowledge AI assistance.
Export Tracked Changes to Microsoft Word
Review the humanization the way you review feedback from a tutor. The word-level diff exports as a .docx file with native tracked changes, so you can open your essay in Microsoft Word, accept or reject each edit, and keep a clean record of what changed before you submit. Thesis students can hand the same file straight to a supervisor.

What the research says about students and AI writing
AI-assisted writing is now the norm, and the numbers say so plainly. The Higher Education Policy Institute's 2025 survey of full-time undergraduates found 88% had used generative AI for assessments, up from 53% a year earlier. The full survey is published by HEPI. Universities are responding with policy, and the workable policies center on disclosure: say what the tool did, and submit writing you can stand behind.
The detection side has a documented accuracy problem. Vanderbilt University disabled Turnitin's AI detector in 2023, noting that even the vendor's claimed 1% false-positive rate would have mislabeled around 750 of the 75,000 papers it submitted in a single year, and universities including Northwestern and Georgetown made the same call. Vanderbilt published its reasoning in full. Humanizing an AI-assisted draft you are entitled to submit restores the sentence variety detectors expect from human writers, so honest work is not the work that gets flagged.
The published benchmark
The same engine behind those pass rates handles coursework: measured on a 2,000-document academic corpus, re-run as detection models update.
These are vendor-measured figures, published with their corpus. No humanizer can promise a detector outcome on a specific document, which is why every TextPulse pass reports an estimated Human Score computed from your own text instead of a guarantee.
